Busy Bee Preschool is a small, in-home preschool designed to give children the attention and care they need during their early learning years. With small class sizes and a calm, welcoming environment, children are able to build friendships, develop independence, and grow a love for learning.
Each busy bee will have the opportunity to show and tell, bring snacks, and participate in special events throughout the year.
Our program focuses on kindergarten readiness through play-based learning, hands-on activities, and gentle structure. Each day includes opportunities for early literacy, numbers, creativity, movement, and social development.
Inspired by Montessori principles, Busy Bee Preschool encourages curiosity, independence, and respect for each childβs unique pace of learning! True to the Montessori style, we have a mixed aged classroom with tiered learning.
Potty training is not required.
Hi! I’m Bonnie.
As a mom of four homeschooled children, education has always been a central part of our home. Over the years, Iβve developed a deep appreciation for the early childhood years and the importance of creating an environment where children feel safe, capable, and excited to learn.
In addition to homeschooling, I have my degree in Elementary Education and have taught preschool for 10 years at the Utah Dance Center.
Busy Bee Preschool grew out of a desire to offer families a small, thoughtful preschool option where children are known, supported, and encouraged every day.
With small class sizes (6-8 children) and a calm environment, I focus on helping children build the foundational skills they need before kindergarten academically, socially, and emotionally.
Virginia and Sarina, our assistant beekeepers love working with children and have had experience babysitting, assisting with camps, and preschool programs.
